A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for an Engineering Manager to join an excellent and award winning company.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Engineering Manager with a strong background in Manufacturing Processes. As an Engineering Manager you will be responsible for four dynamic department heads.

You will also lead teams, and support the growth of the business.

Role & Responsibilities:

Communicating within business to ensure all are aware of their role/s in compliance
Day to day facilitation of engineering support to maintain best production O.E.E
Carrying out research and completing documentation and risk assessments
Attending training programmes as necessary
Liaising with external bodies to be aware of changing industry requirements
Overseeing implementation and conducting internal inspections
Maintaining records of compliance practices
Filing documentation and managing contractors to fulfil legal obligations
Producing training materials and sharing best practice throughout a business

Structure:

Direct liaison with Manufacturing manager
Report to board of Directors at monthly board meeting
Manage the heads of four support service departments

Experience & Skills

Ability to interpret technical drawings/customer drawings
Ability to problem-solve, including FMEA and 8D
Project Management skills
IATF 16949, ISO 14001, PUWER, LOLER, HSAWA, PESR
