This leading worldwide manufacturer is looking to recruit a Supply Chain Manager to their management team. The role is based within their South Wales production facility, which is currently experiencing an enormous degree of growth and prosperity. This is a key role within the company which provides genuine career progression and further development.

Role & Responsibilities:

Lead & develop a team of personnel across procurement, planning & stock control.
Provide accurate and timely information on resource and capacity required to meet customer requirements
Active member of the site management team
Ensuring that the best value in terms of quality, price and service is always achieved
Hands on coaching and mentoring of all team members
Responsibility for KPIs and prepare budget activities
Work closely with global supply chain to obtain competitive pricing

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Excellent Supply Chain and Logistics experience at management or supervisory level
Proven track record of achievement in all aspects of Logistics, MRP systems, planning tools, stock accuracy and transportation
Experience within the manufacturing industry
Background working in a high pressurised environment would be extremely transferrable
Excellent negotiation skills
Experience of working with both customers and suppliers
