We are proud to be continually supporting a powerhouse client within the Automation sector, the role is based out of their Milton Keynes Headquarters. With over 400 head count and are continuing to grow at a steady rate they are looking to increase part of the design team with the addition of a Product Design Engineer.

The main responsibilities are as follows:

Working in a team of 4 design engineers
Concept design and re-designing of their products
Support the team with any Technical Enquiries / Product Claims
Initiate Product Testing
Issuing Technical Documentation
Delivering Training to clients/customers and stakeholders
Conducting Market research – looking into trends and competitor activities
Using SolidWorks to conduct the Mechanical Design
Project management – delivering multiple design projects at any one time

I’m looking to speak with candidates who have experience in a Product Design Position previously and candidates who have knowledge of Product design as a whole – from Concept through to testing and assisting with technical enquiries.
