A leading Manufacturing company has an exciting opportunity for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their Engineering Team.
This is an excellent opportunity offers specific & progressive training within a close-knit engineering team. Following a positive restructure, this role can provide progressive on-the-job training, external courses and continuous investment into the engineering team. This is an excellent chance to broaden your skillset in a fast-paced manufacturing facility.
Role Description
- Electrical and Mechanical PPM’s, Reactive & Breakdown maintenance
- Working within a Skilled Team
- Reporting into the Maintenance Manager
- Maintenance with food/fmcg manufacturing equipment, including automated and semi-automated machinery
- To contribute to kaizen projects working cross functionally
- Machine installations
- Lots of internal & external training and development opportunities
- Adhering to Health & Safety on site at all times
Skills and Qualifications
- Time-Served, Apprenticeship trained with Level 3/HNC qualifications
- Strong Background within Packaging, FMCG, Food or Plastic manufacturing
- Fault finding ability both Electrically & Mechanically
- Motivated to work in a team environment
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, PLC’s, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Knowledge of Kaizen, Six Sigma and 5S, Continuous Improvement Methods
- Proven experience and drive to work in a fast-paced environment
