Due to continued investment and expansion there is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Estimator. Role & Responsibilities:

As an Estimator, you will use your knowledge and skills to develop and implement robust tenders throughout the business. This role will be responsible for the building and securing of tenders within the group.

Sourcing accurate costs for items such as materials, labour and equipment
Establishing and maintaining relationships with key supply chain
Obtaining quotes from suppliers and subcontractors within a specified time frame
Assessing the risk levels associated with a project
Preparation and submission of bid proposals
Assisting with bids for new contracts and supporting the activities of the Bid Manager
Monitoring the costs at different stages of a project tender to ensure they remain within the estimated costs

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Previous experience of working in an Estimating role
Good knowledge and experience working within the construction industry
The ability to work under pressure to meet set budgets and deadlines
The ability to read and understand architectural and mechanical/electrical drawings and specifications

Benefits Package:

A starting salary of £32,000 – £36,000
