We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Engineer with proven experience in this field, a well established manufacturing company on the outskirts of Newport has recently seen some substantial growth within the company and is expanding their engineering department.

Duties and Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance on electrical equipment including, motors, VSD’s, Motor control panels and their associated components
Fault find and repair defective electrical components/systems
Install/replace electrical components to correct standard
Interpret and update single line diagrams, wiring diagrams and other electrical schematics
Monitor PLC programs for fault finding purposes and carry out basic modifications
Assist Works Electrical Engineer in design of new circuits and projects
Build/replace minor control panels
Update CMMS after completion of works and create work orders/TAGS where necessary.
