Due to an increase in customer demand in our clients business, they are now recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join their team in the Burnley Area on a Double Days based position.

This role offers the opportunity to work for a true independent market leader and established global brand. Role Description

Reacting to electrical and mechanical breakdowns, fault finding, conducting root cause analysis, keeping operation downtime to a minimum.
Keeping accurate records of work activities, tasks carried out, stores, etc.
Liaising with other departments to work on increasing machine reliability on existing and new equipment, completing diagnostics on breakdowns and completing repairs ensuring, along with fulfilling planned engineering activities.
Attend meetings as required, analyse data and find solutions to improve equipment performance whilst ensuring safe working practice and full communications are maintained at all times.
Involvement in projects within the business to develop an effective engineering install and commissioning.

Skills and Qualifications

Level 3 or above Engineering Qualification
Electrically qualified and competent
Excellent route cause analysis skills
Working knowledge of Health and Safety processes
Knowledge and experience of CMMS.
Decision making skills – works collaboratively with the team.
