An industry leading recycling plant are looking to add a Junior Site Chemist to their lab team. Joining a two-shift pattern, you will be working alongside a successful team in an established business. This is an exciting opportunity for a Chemistry graduate looking for some experience out of university. This is a role suited for a practical, hands on personality with work being split between the laboratory and outdoors.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Ensuring compliance with all Environmental permit
Inspecting incoming waste streams; sampling, analysis and assigning treatment route
Completion of waste transfer and hazardous waste consignment documentation.
Analysis of process residue
Maintenance of containerised waste stock register
Maintenance of laboratory supplies stock
Data input regarding delivery information and analytical results to the company database

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Degree / HND in Chemistry or applied science
A good physical fitness
A good organizational skillset

Benefits Package:

£26-28,000
20 days holiday + bank holidays
Training courses available.
4% Pension
