Commutable from Stockport, Oldham, Hyde, Ashton -under- Lyne, Mossley, High Lane, Wilmslow.

£36,750 + Pay rise in 6 months

Days – Tuesday – Friday (3 Day Weekend)

Our client is a Chemical Manufacturer that values hard work, teamwork and developing people. They are part of a global group with relationships with manufacturers across Europe, China, India and South America. This is one of their flagship growing operations and they are looking for a Mechanical / Maintenance Fitter due to increased growth within the business.

Role & Responsibilities:

Being Responsible for Overhauling pumps, changing stators, mechanical seals, repacking pump glands installation of new pumps.
Overhauling Valves change seals, repack glands, fit new valves.
Attend breakdown on site.
Carryout preventative and corrective maintenance on the plant.
Overhaul gearbox/motos fitting new seals and bearings etc

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Must be Apprenticeship qualified or NVQ Level 3 in mechanical or engineering Qualification.
Worked on a chemical site or manufacturing site
Boiler /steam plant experience.
Screwed pipework experience
