App Support Analyst – Data focussed

Bristol – Hybrid working

Up to 30k DOE

My client is a manufacturer of quality office goods and they are looking for an application support engineer with data engineering experience to join their IT team.

You will work closely with your colleagues to provide insights for intelligent decision making throughout the business.

You will also create and maintain EDI customer integration connections, delivery development solutions in order to optimize the ERP system using Python.. You will maintain the ERP data using PostgreSQL. You will investigate, diagnose and resolve issues across a range of devices. You will provide a level of support to users, including setup and maintenance of system user accounts, ERP and technical support.

There are 3 key aspects to this role

1)App support

2)Data Engineering

3)Helpdesk support

What you will be doing:

Creating reports in PostgreSQL / Excel

Ensure the integrity of system and report data

Maintain and develop software services

Resolve issues

Collaborate, driving innovative solutions through new software

Skills and experience:

Microsoft Excel report creation via SQL , PostgreSQL or PowerBI

Python programming

Windows Desktop support

Microsoft Office (predominantly Excel)

Advantageous:

Dashboard and KPI development

Web Application development

Understanding of networking, Windows Server

You will:

Be a great communicator, work collaboratively. You will work well under pressure. You will be great at problem solving and take a proactive approach.

You will be in contact with various departments, colleagues and customers so a great attitude is a must!
