Mechanical Technician – Didcot – Oxfordshire

£42,000 – £46,000 + 5% Bonus

39hr week (Monday – Thursday 8.00am-4.00pm, Friday 8.00am-3.00pm)

Our client is a world leading producer that is dedicated to producing products that’s quality is recognised as second to none. With a strong order book and due to growth into various export markets they are looking for a Mechanical Technician to join their close knit team. With sites across the world they provide genuine opportunities for progression.

Role & Responsibilities:

Work as part of a team to ensure safe, efficient & reliable execution of all aspects of plant operation
Responsible for planning & execution of routine maintenance & shutdowns

Responsible for all aspects of safety, health, quality and environmental compliance, site security and mechanical maintenance
Resolve mechanical and process related issues and breakdown on site
Contractor management, permit to work, organizing work loads

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Level 3 qualification in Mechanical Engineering or apprenticeship trained
Strong safety mindset and focus on operating practices
Experience in engineering or manufacturing environments

Benefits Package:
£42,000 – £42,000 + 5% Bonus
