Rotating 12 hour shifts, Days & Nights – Xmas Shutdown

A leading FMCG manufacturer is looking for an experience multi skilled maintenance engineer to join the team. This potions offers excellent work like balance, with a competitive salary & benefits package.

Reactive and proactive engineering at a 24/7 production site, ensuring minimum downtime. Working on continuous improvement projects, and working in a safe manner inline with Health & Safety procedures

Role Description
* Electrical and Mechanical PPM, Reactive & Breakdown maintenance
* Reporting into the Maintenance Manager, working with a close knit engineering team
* Maintenance on plastic packaging machinery, automated lines, conveyors, blow moulding machinery
* To contribute to kaizen projects working cross functionally
* Machine installations, machine improvement projects
* Lots of internal & external training and development opportunities
* Adhering to Health & Safety across site

Skills and Qualifications
* Time-Served, Apprenticeship trained with Level 3/HNC qualifications
* Strong Background within Packaging, FMCG, Food or Plastic manufacturing
* Fault finding ability both Electrically & Mechanically
* Motivated to work in a team environment
* Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, PLC’s, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Knowledge of Kaizen, Six Sigma and 5S, Continuous Improvement Methods
* Proven experience and drive to work in a fast-paced environment
